The last day of our Disney World vacation we went to Disney Epcot, or as Alex likes to call it the giant golf ball. Epcot has the most amazing bushes shaped as Disney characters. At the entrance to the park are all the princesses, in bush form. They seriously must be groomed every day. They were immaculate and perfect down to the tiniest detail.

Happy
We rode the giant golf ball ride and the kids were happy to learn that reading is the key to all knowledge and technology in the world. Alex insisted on being carried all week. By now my back was in plenty of pain so I told him that he could walk now he's 3 years old. He said, "Oh I forgot I am 3. I can walk now." He immediately got down and started walking. I thought that would be the end of that, but shortly thereafter he said, "I don't want to be 3 anymore. I'll just stay 2. Pick me up please"

Grandpa loved the ostriches
Michael just had to see Donald. We hadn't seen Donald yet so we went to see Donald. But first we got to see all these other important characters.

Epcot is split up into different areas that portray all different parts of the world with different foods, buildings, rides, and characters. Here is Alex, Michael, Emily and Daddy with a troll guy. Emily is trying to match the trolls face. Not bad Huh!

Grandpa's favorite was Mary Poppins. He asked if she could place a spell on the kids to make them be good. She said, "I'm not a witch! I'm just practically perfect in every way."

The next day we were scheduled to fly home. While waiting for our flight we went to Down Town Disney for some shopping fun. The kids love the Lego store, especially Michael. He loves Lego's and anything building things. Just outside the store are these huge Lego displays. In the river was a giant snake like guy.

Wow! The Millennium Falcon in Legos!
On the other side of the entrance was a whole family with their pet dogs all made from Legos. Isn't it amazing! Maybe one day Michael can make giant people from Legos.

Epcot closes early as does all the other parks except for Magic Kingdom. So we went back to Magic Kingdom and rode all of our favorite rides one last time. We stayed and watched the light parade, fireworks, and watched Tinker Bell fly off the castle. Grandpa was so proud of us for being one of 10 cars left in the parking lot at Epcot.

The flight home was quite an adventure itself. There were hurricanes in Houston where we were suppose to have a 2 hour layover. We ended up circling for an hour and finally landed in Baton Rouge, where we sat on the plane for another hour or so until the storm passed. Once we landed in Houston we had to run to the next plane, across the airport in 4 minutes. Lucky for us they were waiting for us. However Emily got sick and threw up as soon as we sat down, due to not having dinner and running across the airport. Gratefully we made it home safe with lots of fun stories and memories we will never forget!!
Holy Cow. I am green with ENVY! Is it wrong to covet your neighbor's vacation?
